Limits and pricing
The API comes with the API & Integrations add-on, a separate charge for every account, Enterprise included. Each month includes a number of calls; calls past that are billed per 1,000.
Pricing
| Plan | Price | Calls included each month | Past the included calls |
|---|---|---|---|
| API & Integrations | $49 a month | 20,000 | $5 per 1,000 calls |
For example, an account on API & Integrations that makes 30,000 calls in a month pays $49 plus 10 times $5: $99.
The month is the calendar month in UTC, and calls past the included number are rounded up to the next 1,000 at the end of it. Admins are told when the account reaches 80% and 100% of its included calls. The account owner adds API & Integrations under Settings, Billing.
What counts as a call
Every authenticated call that answers 2xx or 4xx, every first webhook delivery attempt and every MCP tool call's API calls. Rate-limited, quota-refused and server-error calls are not counted; retries of a webhook are free.
Every response carries X-Quota-Limit and X-Quota-Used, and GET /v1/account/usage returns the month so far for a key with the usage:read scope. Sandbox calls are not billed.
An account that cannot be billed for more calls, or that reaches its monthly cap, gets ERR_QUOTA_EXCEEDED until the next month or until the owner adds a payment method or raises the cap under Settings, Billing.
Rate limits
Each plan has these limits:
| Plan | Calls per minute | Burst | Calls per day | Included each month | Monthly cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| API & Integrations | 300 | 600 | 50,000 | 20,000 | 100,000 calls (5 times the included calls) |
| Sandbox | 60 | 120 | 5,000 | Not metered | None |
Burst is how many calls can arrive at once before the per-minute rate applies. Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset. Over a limit, the call is refused with 429, ERR_RATE_LIMITED and a Retry-After header: wait that many seconds before trying again. Refused calls are not billed.
